Beloved Grandmothers – carriers of the strong wisdom, keeping the vision alive to paddle all together in one direction. In unity they follow the pathway, their vision together is to strengthen and empower people they encounter.

It is given for us to learn how-to walk-in Beauty and Respect on Turtle Island for our journey. The rapid water brings us to acknowledge that life will be chaotic at certain times of our lives, but things will get back to its normal course eventually.

The Algonquin’s take on the Aurora was that it was created by light from a fire built by Nanahbozho (Creator). They understood the fire to be Nanahbozho’s ways of telling them that he remembered them and was watching over them.
