The land of my Ancestors is where they have lived, cared for and maintained relations for thousands of years. It is now called Canada.  Their relationship with the land wasn’t just one of sustenance and livelihood; it also encompassed a deep sense of community, spirituality, and identity.

The Ancestors believed that the land was a sacred gift from the Creator, and that they had a responsibility to care for it. They held ceremonies and rituals to honor the land and gave thanks for all that it provided.

The Ancestors also had a strong sense of community and belonging to the land. They lived in harmony with nature and worked together to ensure the well-being of their people. They shared stories, traditions, and teachings that were passed down through generations, creating a rich cultural heritage that was deeply rooted in the land.

Today, the descendants of the Ancestors continue to carry on their legacy and maintain their connection to the land. Despite the many challenges and changes that have occurred over the centuries, the bond between the people and the land remains strong. It is a reminder of the importance of respecting and honoring the land that has sustained for thousands of years.
