The sound of the Drum blows to the wind with a strong Heartbeat (the pulse of Mother Earth). The heart beat reaches to the whole center of the Universe. We who have the understanding of the mystery & power of the teachings are able to send it out to reach all Creation. The Elder stands strong and remembers the responsibilities that come with the teaching and the sharing of our traditional way. As we journey while reflecting on our stories, we are “Singing to our Ancestors” in a loving & respectful way, offering gratitude in the songs as a celebration of life.
